Job Description
We are hiring an Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist to work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their home, work, and daily lives. The ABIS will provide direct care services, train staff, and promote community integration.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Psychology or Human Services OR Enrolled in 4-year degree in Psychology or Human Services field
- Experience working within the field of I/DD
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
- Willing to take initiative
- Highly flexible to varied work schedule
- Experience in computer skills and ability to teach others
- Strong writing ability
- Must demonstrate assertiveness/leadership skills
- Must demonstrate clinical skills
