Job Description
YAI is a network of agencies offering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a comprehensive range of services across all ages. The Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist will work directly with people in their home, work, and daily lives, providing direct care services, training staff, and implementing individualized habilitative plans.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Psychology or Human Services OR Enrolled in 4-year degree in Psychology or Human Services field
- Prior experience working within the field of I/DD
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
- Willing to take initiative
- Highly flexible to varied work schedule
- Experience in computer skills
- Strong writing ability
- Strong ability to teach others
- Must demonstrate assertiveness and leadership skills
- Must demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge
