Job Description
YAI is seeking a qualified Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) to support our locations in Queens. The Asst. BIS position blends together the Direct Support Professional (DSP) role and a behavioral support role. Under the supervision of the BIS, the Asst. BIS will support in educating team members on treatment plans and behavior support plans, assisting with clinical assessments, ensuring data collection, and providing direct feedback and education to all team members.
Requirements
- Provide direct care services as needed
- Train staff on clinical interventions and behavioral support plans
- Assist with clinical assessments and data collection
- Develop written, individualized habilitative plans
- Conduct assessments and design effective data collection systems
