Job Description
YAI is seeking a qualified Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) to support our locations in Queens. The Asst. BIS position blends together the Direct Support Professional (DSP) role and a behavioral support role.
Requirements
- Provide direct care services as needed
- Train staff on clinical interventions
- Develop written, individualized habilitative plans
- Conduct assessments and design effective data collection systems
- Oversee/maintain completion of required paperwork
