Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Before/After School Counselor to support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The position involves direct supervision of a group of children, creating positive relationships with children and parents/caregivers, and promoting the potential of all youth.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 60 days of hire date
