Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Before/After School Counselor to support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The counselor will provide direct supervision of a group of children in an after school program and create positive, nurturing relationships with children and parents.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 60 days of hire date
