Job Description
The Supervisor of Aquatics will be responsible for the smooth and effective delivery of designated programs, including progressive swim classes, water aerobics classes, and lifeguarding. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising aquatics staff, and pool maintenance.
Requirements
- Assist Aquatics Director in assigned tasks.
- Address questions and concerns regarding aquatic programming.
- Supervise lifeguards, water fitness instructors and swim lesson instructors.
- Ensure appropriate coverage which may include guarding or instructing when a substitute is not available
- Identify training needs and initiate development activities of aquatics staff.
- Visible and enthusiastic involvement with members, volunteers and staff.
- Participate in and support Association events and fund raising activities.
- Conduct monthly in-service trainings for staff
