Job Description
New Bremen is seeking a Part-Time/Non-Exempt Childcare Activity Leader to assist with the planning, development, and implementation of all classroom activities. This role emphasizes social, physical, spiritual, and mental development of children, safety, and well-being, while adhering to Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) guidelines. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Plans, develops and implements weekly lesson plans.
- Works cooperatively with Lead Teacher, Site Administrator, and other staff.
- Documents attendance, absenteeism, transitions, minor disciplines, and incidents.
- Maintains quality of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Reports any broken or unsafe toys and disinfects equipment.
- Conducts program in accordance with Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) guidelines.
- Manages appropriate adult/child ratio.
- Assists with classroom cleaning and monitoring.
- Attends parent events, staff meetings, and training.
