Job Description
This part-time, non-exempt position assists in planning and implementing all classroom activities, ensuring the children's social, physical, and mental development. The role involves creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment, adhering to state regulations, and reporting concerns to supervisors. A focus on work-life balance and a supportive workplace culture is valued.
Requirements
- Plans, develops, and implements weekly lesson plans
- Works cooperatively with other staff and partners
- Documents attendance, absences, and incidents
- Maintains classroom order and supplies
- Documents injuries and safety concerns
- Communicates with parents and conducts parent/teacher conferences
