Job Description
West Carrollton, OH is seeking a Part-Time Childcare Activity Leader to assist in the planning and implementation of all classroom activities. The role focuses on ensuring children's social, physical, spiritual, and mental development, while maintaining safety and child well-being. The position involves documentation, communication with parents, and adhering to Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) guidelines.
Requirements
- Plans, develops and implements weekly lesson plans.
- Documents attendance, absenteeism, and incidents.
- Maintains classroom cleanliness and supplies.
- Reports any broken or unsafe toys.
- Conduces the program in accordance with ODJFS guidelines.
- Handles discipline appropriately.
- Assists in maintaining a child/program area.
- Protects confidential information.
- Valid driver's license.
- Comfortable with summer months/Day Camp
- Compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) requirements.
