Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and assisting with swim instruction. This is a part-time, non-exempt position providing free certification and training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Currently hold or possess the ability to participate in and achieve certification for the following:
- Professional rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross or YMCA, Starguard, Ellis
- Minimum of six months or more of related lifesaving experience preferred.
