Job Description
The Lifeguard at the Downtown YMCA is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt position responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions. The role involves emergency response, ensuring pool safety, assisting with swim instruction, and maintaining the facility. The YMCA welcomes all individuals and offers free certification and training.
Requirements
- Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
- Ensure safety by enforcing pool rules and checking for hazards.
- Respond to emergency situations and complete incident reports.
- Maintain and record accurate records.
- Perform physical fitness and rescue drills.
