Job Description
This part-time Lifeguard position at the Preble County YMCA involves maintaining safe swimming conditions, responding to emergency situations, assisting with swim instruction, and promoting aquatics programs. The role requires a commitment to a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can grow and reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
- Ensure safety by enforcing pool rules and checking for hazards.
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with YMCA policies.
- Follow aquatics employee rules and guidelines.
- Perform rescues and fitness drills.
- Perform all skills required of a lifeguard.
