Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a dedicated Head Swim Team Coach to lead the swim program. The role involves developing and implementing training programs, coaching athletes, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive team environment. No lifeguard experience is required, and training will be provided to those who need it.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a swim coach or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Background in competitive swimming is a plus.
