Job Description
The Rockwell Plaza YMCA is seeking a dedicated Head Swim Team Coach to lead their swim program. The role involves developing training programs, conducting coaching, and fostering a positive team environment, regardless of prior experience with swimming. The YMCA aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for swimmers of all skill levels.
Requirements
- CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certification
- Renewal of certifications annually
- Completed Annual Compliance Trainings within 30 days and renewed annually
- 16 years of age
- Technical ability in swim skill instruction
- Proven experience as a swim coach or similar role
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
