Job Description
The Lifeguard creates and maintains a safe, positive, and engaging Aquatics atmosphere that promotes member safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. The Lifeguard uses rescue techniques and equipment to provide the best possible care and respond to in-water and on-land emergencies.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- Current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
- Certification in Emergency Oxygen Preferred
- Exhibits great communication and listening skills to work with staff and members, delivering a quality experience
