The Outdoor Pool Coordinator develops and manages an effective Aquatics team at the Summer Outdoor Pools, ensuring staff are prepared for emergency response and day-to-day pool events. The Aquatics Director promotes a safe and fun environment for members to participate in open swim and fulfilling programs.
Requirements
- Current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens
- YSL or WSI, Lifeguard Instructor, and AFO or CPO certifications preferred
- Two years of college or at least two years of related work experience
- Studying recreation, Aquatics management, Exercise science, physical recreation, or related field preferred
- Three years of related experience in Aquatic Programming and six months of supervisory experience preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
