As a Lead Design Engineer (Bioresources - Process) at Yorkshire Water, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering design support in compliance with the Yorkshire Water Engineering Specification and design guidance. You will work closely with the Strategic Planning Partner, Design Partner, and Delivery Partners to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient design solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Chartered or working toward Chartered status (IChemE or equivalent preferred)
- At least 5 years' process engineering design experience within the wastewater sector (in particular bioresources)
- Experience of working in a multi-discipline design team
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and high-quality engineering design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working on multiple deliverables to project deadlines
- Experience in the application of quality procedures and document control in engineering design
- Full valid driving license with less than 6 points
