Lead Design Engineer (Process - Wastewater)

We are seeking a Lead Design Engineer (Process - Wastewater) to join our Engineering Design team at Yorkshire Water. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' wastewater design experience and will be responsible for delivering high-quality design outputs, reviewing process engineering design documents, and driving innovation and engineering excellence across all process design work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Chartered or working toward Chartered status (IChemE or equivalent preferred)
• At least 5 years' process engineering design experience within the wastewater sector
• Experience of working in a multi-discipline design team
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to safety, sustainability, and high-quality engineering design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working on multiple deliverables to project deadlines
• Experience in the application of quality procedures and document control in engineering design
• Full valid driving license with less than 6 points
