Appeals Officer

Yorkville University and Toronto Film School are hiring an Appeals Officer to oversee the administration of academic appeals and academic conduct matters for their New Brunswick campus. The successful candidate will support students through the appeals process while ensuring the University’s academic policies and standards are upheld.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in a structured, policy-driven, or post-secondary environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable learning and using systems such as case management tools, student information systems, learning management systems, and document tracking platforms
• Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism in sensitive situations
