Ocean Export Supervisor

Role Overview

The Ocean Export Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Export Agents and managing processes that support the customer's export needs. The position ensures cost-effective export operations, timely service, and compliance with laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

Supervise Export Agents, manage export activities, consolidate shipments, recommend transportation modes, and ensure accurate and timely transactions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Three to five years of Export experience in the freight forwarding industry
• Prior supervisory experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Prior training and experience in handling hazardous goods
• Knowledge of export administration regulations and regulations (TSA, IATA, HAZMAT, ITAR)
