Job Description
The Procurement Specialist II is responsible for managing medium and high-criticality materials, equipment, and subcontracts, sourcing events, and negotiating strategies. This role involves contract management, supplier relationship building, and supporting the entire procurement process from initial identification to contract execution and closure. The Specialist will also participate in project management and mentorship.
Requirements
- Expert level knowledge on procurement processes and procedures.
- Negotiating strategies and ability to resolve contractual issues.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Oracle, Dragnet, PPMS, and other job-specific IT systems.
- Participation in projects from RFP solicitation to Award phase.
