Abacus Technology is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support for end users for the BLITS program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. The role involves handling daily maintenance and monitoring of managed hardware and software for Hanscom AFB clients and customers, both classified and unclassified systems.
Handle daily maintenance and monitoring of managed hardware and software, review tickets, support client voice issues, conduct troubleshooting and repairs, install and troubleshoot authorized software, and support classified NSA Type-1 encryption operations.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, be Security+ CE certified, and have experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems and Active Directory. Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment are also required.
