Job Description
Join our multi-disciplinary team in Aberdeen, UK as a Family Support Practitioner and help create brighter futures for vulnerable children and families. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with families to achieve positive outcomes, conduct assessments, and develop support plans. With a strong sense of purpose, you will be passionate about protecting and supporting children, and committed to making a difference in their lives.
Requirements
- An SVQ 3 in social care or equivalent
- Experience of working with vulnerable families and the issues and barriers they face
- Knowledge and awareness of methods of assessment and interventions
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing and through presentations
- Experience of developing multidisciplinary support plans
- Experience of working with children, young people, their families, and carers to promote and to ensure safeguarding and the welfare of the child / young person
