Requirements
- Assisting the Chef de Rang in setting up tables, ensuring that all cutlery, glasses, and dishes are presented impeccably.
- Serving water, bread, and other accompaniments to guests with promptness and attention.
- Delivering dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring a suitable presentation and temperature.
- Clearing plates, glasses, and cutlery from tables during meal service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Restocking service stations with necessary supplies, such as clean linens, dishes, and condiments.
- Assisting in efficiently re-setting tables for new guests and according to standards.
- Polishing cutlery and glasses to ensure an impeccable appearance.
- Learning and understanding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to support the Chef de Rang effectively.
- Responding to basic guest requests and referring more complex requests to the Chef de Rang.
- Collaborating as a team member with all front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure impeccable service.
