Requirements
- Review and prepare the mise en place corresponding (cuts, sauces, special ingredients, etc.), ensuring their correct preparation, conservation, and labeling.
- Review and apply recipes and instructions with accuracy before and during the preparation of products, guaranteeing the strict compliance of quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare and bake bread for the hotel's breakfast, as well as attend special bakery orders with efficiency and precision.
- Maintain the inventory of prepared products, especially those stored in refrigeration, and deliver the weekly report to the Chef.
- Assist the pastry team during their shift in operational and collaborative tasks, promoting efficient teamwork.
- Set up and maintain the dessert buffet, performing timely replenishment and ensuring the freshness and presentation of products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and disinfection of the work area, equipment, refrigeration, and freezing rooms before, during, and after each shift, according to hygiene protocols.
- Pack and store preparations such as sauces and mise en place, ensuring their conservation under optimal conditions.
- Report to the area manager any missing ingredients or supplies, collaborating with the control and timely replacement of stock.
- Comply with current regulations and standards, including the safety and health management system at work, local norms, and LQA, SQF, and HACCP standards established by the property.
