Recovery Mentor - Community Engagement Team

The Recovery Mentor is a crucial part of the SUD Treatment Team, providing support to clients within an intensive outpatient/Day Treatment program or waiting for residential treatment. This role involves case management, educational support, group facilitation, and assisting with case files and adherence to best practices within a supportive therapeutic setting. Recovery Mentors don't provide counseling but are crucial in providing the client services needed at the Treatment Center.

Requirements

• Participates in daily calls and emails to clients, encouraging engagement in treatment.
• Provides transportation and access to treatment services.
• Provides case management services, including referrals to resources.
• Maintains accurate client case notes.
• Works in alignment with the BestCare’s mission, vision, and values.
• Performs required certifications and licenses promptly.
