Job Description
Beverly Farm Foundation is seeking a Direct Support Person to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to assist with daily activities, create fun activities, and develop independence within residents. Paid training is provided for this entry-level position.
Requirements
- Assist residents in all activities of daily living
- Implement all services specified in the Service Plan for individuals assigned
- Responsible for the daily care of each individual served
- Assist residents by carrying out Active Treatment as defined by the client's ISP and Individual Activity Schedule
- Document resident's programming, behavioral responses, leisure activities, and changes in physical and emotional status
