Simulator Technician

We are seeking a Flight Simulator Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on several CAE and non-CAE flight simulators and associated devices at the CAE Montreal Training Center.

Requirements

• College diploma (DEC) in Electronics, Computer Science, Aircraft Maintenance, or equivalent.
• Related experience in software and electronic modification and manipulation.
• Knowledge of Windows and Unix, programming languages such as C, C++, FORTRAN, and scripting languages.
• Interest in and understanding of the relationship between technical hardware and software interaction as it relates to aviation simulation.
• Familiarity with basic electronic theory and principles and electronic testing equipment.
• Aeronautical knowledge (asset), including avionics, flight dynamics, aircraft systems and simulated systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency in French and English.
