Job Description
The Usher (Patron Services) role supports the Marketing Department’s mission by providing professional, accessible, and responsive front-of-house service to patrons.
Requirements
- Greet patrons into the Amphitheater and other performing venues
- Check-in patron’s gate pass/ticket into the venue using a handheld computerized device
- Assist patrons with disability needs
- Answer patron questions and provide information on venue rules/regulations, event seating, and general information about Chautauqua Institution
- Address and diffuse patron issues
- Work in a calm and professional manner during peak periods and high-attendance events
