Senior Project Manager

The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage complex capital commitment projects, review proposed projects, and oversee construction completion and close-out. Reporting to the Deputy/Program Director, the selected candidate will generate cost estimates, develop schedules, supervise and coordinate project staff, and negotiate with contractors and vendors.

Requirements

• One year of full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field, or a four-year high school diploma or its equivalent and five years of experience in project management work
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position
