Job Description
Coastal Villages Longline, a subsidiary of Coastal Villages Region Fund, is seeking a Chief Steward for one of its Freezer Longliners. This role involves managing the galley area, preparing and serving meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel. Current ServSafe Food Manager Certification is required. The position operates in the Pacific Northwest and requires dedication to safety and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- Two years minimum Kitchen Management experience
- Two years experience in a Galley aboard a commercial fishing vessel
- Ability to work consecutive shifts
- Physical ability to lift 20-50 pounds and climb ladders
- Basic mathematical and reading skills
