Job Description
The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple dining outlets and new restaurant concepts. This role is responsible for concept development, pre-opening execution, financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across diverse venues.
Requirements
- College or university degree with eight or more years of related experience
- Computer literacy in Point of Sale systems and sales/catering applications
- Strong working knowledge of fine dining and beverage service procedures
- Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
- Familiarity with equipment used by the Food & Beverage team
- Required food handling permits, licenses, or certifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Strong communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to create and maintain a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong general management skills
- Financial management expertise
- Strong people management skills
- Understanding and application of labor and industry-specific laws and regulations
