Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Sous Chef to deliver safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals that support patient care and enhance the dining experience for residents, patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- A.S. degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen leadership experience; healthcare or institutional cooking experience strongly preferred
- Experience with high-volume or complex foodservice operations
- Catering or special event production experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of therapeutic diets, batch cooking, and food safety in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of current foodservice trends with an emphasis on nutrition, quality, presentation, cost control, and patient satisfaction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet-based systems
- Willingness to participate in patient and client satisfaction initiatives
