Lead team members to identify, manage, and execute process improvement opportunities within the plant. Oversee production staff to meet production and quality goals, resolve issues related to bottlenecks, and ensure that materials, equipment, and staffing resources are aligned to support the production schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or related Natural Sciences preferred
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- SAP experience preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work weekends and/or shift schedules with a strong work ethic and consistent employment history
- Selfâmotivated and capable of multiâtasking and leading others
