Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead production employees on the 3rd shift in a food manufacturing environment while driving process improvements, meeting production KPI goals, and fostering a culture centered around safety, quality, cost, and engagement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field preferred
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in food processing preferred
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and plant safety standards
- Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing processes
- Experience with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, TPM)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Willing to work weekends and flexible hours based on the needs of the operation
- Self-motivated work approach with a strong work ethic and proven record leading teams and managing multiple priorities
