Employment Specialist II

Copa Health is seeking an Employment Specialist II to provide Supported Employment Services to members seeking to obtain and/or maintain employment in the community. The position involves ensuring compliance with contract requirements, adhering to the philosophy of normalization and community integration, and communicating with the clinical team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
• Prefer a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the field of rehabilitation/employment services or experience working with individuals with behavioral, mental, developmental and/or physical challenges/disabilities
• Fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligibility to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire
• TB Test clearance at the time of hire and annually
• Ability to meet Copa’s driver eligibility requirements
• Reliable transportation with proof of insurance, registration, and a clean MVR for 5 years
