Job Description
COTE is a unique Korean Steakhouse in New York City that requires Prep Cooks to prepare delicious dishes, set up workstations, and assist the Chef de Cuisine with daily tasks.
Requirements
- Sets up and sanitizes workstations
- Produces assigned menu dishes
- Measures ingredients and seasonings
- Undertakes basic cooking duties
- Ensures food and items are stored properly
- Complies with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Supervises food and cooling room temperatures
- Labels, stocks, and organizes ingredients
- Works efficiently with kitchen team members
- Keeps utensils and equipment clean and sanitary
- Reports to scheduled shifts on time
- Assists other stations or areas of the restaurant
- Responsible for training new employees
