Production Technician

Role Overview

Join our team at the Woodhull, Illinois corn and soybean production facility as a Production Technician. You will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture, leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology. As a Production Technician, you will model safety as the number one focus and be a safety steward of the designated program.

What You Will Do

Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant, field, and warehouse operations, including monitoring highly automated equipment, assisting with receiving, conditioning, packaging, harvest, product return, and precleaning, and participating in harvest activities such as preparation, drying, shelling, and product unloading.

We are looking for someone who is willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand, and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting. You should also be comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude, including the use of Microsoft Applications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED within 12 months of hire
• Valid US Driver's License
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, including nights and weekends during seasonal peaks
