Production Technician

Role Overview

Join our team at Corteva Agriscience in Durant, Iowa, to participate in harvest activities, general plant, field, and warehouse operations, and use automation and computerized systems to perform work tasks. This role will be on-site at our Corteva location.

What You Will Do

Participate in harvest activities, perform general plant, field, and warehouse operations, accurately monitor automated equipment, and perform warehouse activities such as forklift operation and collecting samples.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED within 12 months
• Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting
• Comfortable with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications
• Valid US Driver's License
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Integrity and ability to promote a positive working environment
• Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, including nights and weekends during seasonal peaks
