Shift Manager

Role Overview

DP World is recruiting for a Shift Manager to join their fast-paced operation in Hinckley. The role involves planning, managing, and coordinating the shift, ensuring the highest level of service is available at all times. The Shift Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 15 direct reports and 10 indirect reports, as well as operational warehouse operatives.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include planning the shift, monitoring targets, setting and following up on actions, coordinating shift activities, and ensuring teams are effectively skilled, motivated, and trained.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have strong previous management experience in a fast-paced logistics operation, excellent communication skills, and a good level of Maths and English. They will also have proven experience in leadership and development of teams, as well as a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and MS-Office.
