Shift Manager

Role Overview

DP World are recruiting for a Shift Manager to join their fast-paced operation in Hinckley. The role involves planning, management, and coordination of the shift, with responsibility for 15 direct reports and 10 indirect reports. The shift is on an evening schedule, Monday to Friday, 16:00-00:30.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include ensuring the highest level of service, planning and monitoring targets, coordinating shift activities, and responding to situations arising on shift. Leadership of teams and ensuring they are effectively skilled, motivated, and trained is also a key aspect of the role.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have strong previous management experience in a fast-paced logistics operation, excellent communication skills, and a good level of Maths and English. Proven experience in leadership and development of teams is also required.
