The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in driving company growth by generating and qualifying leads through engaging prospective clients, and setting qualified, confirmed first meetings for the sales team, and cultivating the customer journey through proposal.
Requirements
- Identify, research, and contact potential customers through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Use discovery frameworks to qualify prospects and assess fit.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Nurture early-stage leads and schedule qualified meetings or demos for Account Executives.
- Work closely with marketing and sales to refine lead criteria, feedback loops, and campaigns.
- Meet or exceed KPIs for outbound calls, emails, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities, proposals delivered.
