
Job description
The Business Development function sits at the front line of our customer journey, serving a crucial role in the broader Commercial organization. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be primarily responsible for managing the top of the funnel for our business development pipeline – generating/qualifying leads using independent judgement related to bid management, including ensuring timely delivery of all bid documents; quoting and negotiating prices and other key terms; engaging with former customers and analyzing collected data to determine reasons for lost business; accurate forecasting of new business and collaborating with Account Managers to close sales.
Establish prospect contact via email, phone, or social outreach to connect with new prospects and get to the right decision-makers; Qualify leads for mutual interest between the Company and the prospect, ensuring both parties are aligned and that the company is able and interested in servicing the customer before proceeding further in the sales process.
The ideal candidate for this role is energetic with a high degree of initiative, great communication skills, and passionate about a career in customer-facing & sales roles.
