Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with water and wastewater experience and a deep understanding of the markets, including public, private, and industrial owners. The successful candidate will have a command of collaborative project delivery methodology and leadership skills to develop and lead business development strategy.

Requirements

• Establishes and maintains relationships with regional public, private, and industrial clients, consultants, and other key regional stakeholders
• Develops and leads business development strategy
• Investigates and understands the internal business processes of clients, their needs and project drivers, and can discuss relevant business challenges
• Leads the Go/No-Go decision-making process
• Provides leadership and direction to the proposal team
• Demonstrates leadership in the water market industry
• Develops and executes regional / industry-specific marketing and branding plans
• Develops a thorough understanding of regional trends and competition
• Manages time to focus on the highest priority activities
• Documents all prospect activity in accordance with Garney's processes and methodologies
• Consistently exceed expectations on meeting goals
• Function well in a fast-paced, informal environment
• Collaborate with clients while understanding their diverse personalities and business needs
