
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Engineering Group at GM of Canada Company, St. Catharines Propulsion Plant. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.
Apply General Motors Manufacturing System (GMS) principles to identify and eliminate waste, standardize processes, and improve overall operational efficiency. Conduct in-depth Process Engineering analyses, including process flow PFMEA, cycle time studies, and bottleneck identification.
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Related field preferred). Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the automotive industry. Understanding Engine component manufacturing is a plus.
