The Application Management Senior Department Manager role is responsible for leading departmental strategic planning and shaping overall departmental priorities, roadmap, and governance.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in administrating, supporting, and maintaining enterprise platforms
- At least 7 years of managing technical teams and managing enterprise IT projects
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of core banking systems and integrated banking systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT service management best practices and frameworks
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of vendor management principles
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex network architectures
- Advanced skills in managing and maintaining enterprise-level systems and hardware
- Advanced understanding of Server, Desktop, and Application virtualization concepts and technologies
- Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture, security, and best practices for leveraging and integrating cloud technologies
- Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive disaster recovery plans
- Advanced skills creating batch and PowerShell scripts for system maintenance tasks
- Expert knowledge of SDLC processes and best practices for managing software releases
- Advanced oral and written communication abilities
- Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite products
- Ability to apply complex logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and deal with multiple variables
- Ability to compute complex mathematical functions such as discount, interest, profit and loss, commission markup and selling price, ratio and proportion, and percentage
- Ability to lead and work under pressure and meet deadlines
