Project Accountant

The project accountant will work within the Project Accounting Team and report to the Lead Project Accountant, responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected. This position will be fully at the project site located in Boise, ID.

Requirements

• Responsible for processing bi-monthly subcontractor billings and all material invoices for the project.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining files, forms, purchase orders, subcontract files, meeting minutes, misc. forms, etc.
• Support the bi-monthly billing process for the client and quarterly accounting reports for the corporate office.
• Work with the lead project accountant to obtain tax-related documentation to support the subcontract billing cycle and the owner's tax exemption requirements.
• Monitor and ensure that all data requirements are satisfied in accordance with the established budgets and schedules
• Manage the technical information required to deliver some of the most exciting projects in the industry.
• Responsible for tracking/reporting of accounting indicators.
• Responsible for copying, filing, and mailing/distribution of jobsite correspondence.
