Project Accountant

The project accountant will work within the Project Accounting Team and report to the Lead Project Accountant. They will be responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

Requirements

• Processing bi-monthly subcontractor billings and all material invoices for the project
• Developing and maintaining files, forms, purchase orders, subcontract files, meeting minutes, and miscellaneous forms
• Supporting the bimonthly billing process to client and quarterly accounting reports for corporate office
• Working with the lead project accountant to obtain tax-related documentation to support the sub-contract billing cycle and the owner's tax exemption requirements
• Monitoring and ensuring that all data requirements are satisfied in accordance with the established budgets and schedules
