As a Gate Attendant, you will greet visitors, vendors, and contractors, direct them to their destinations, and hand out promotional materials. You will also work with golf-cart rentals and submit maintenance requests as needed.
Requirements
- Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors, directing them to their destinations
- Obtain name, license plate number, phone number, and email address of each guest entering the community
- Forward information obtained to the sales office for follow-up within 24 hours
- Note all unusual occurrences on the daily log sheet
- Hand-out promotional material to prospective guests
- Answer the telephone courteously and record pre-call visitor information appropriately
- Prepare pre-call sheets for the following day
- Submit maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer, and water break problems as needed
- Greet and register late arriving guests, if applicable
- Check buildings, turn off lights, and lock doors and gates as directed
- Monitor the community, noting any deficiencies (i.e. broken lights, missing signs, etc.)
